What is the Think Big Summit?

Think Big Summit is a biennial philosophical gathering of thought leaders and changemakers across diverse disciplines to discuss BIG fundamental questions surrounding life, society and the nation.

This year’s summit is powered by the Ministry of Unity Malaysia.

The Theme this Year: The Malaysian Dilemma 🇲🇾

Fragmented Identities & Loyalties in a Plural Society

Our shared Malaysian identity is a source of pride, but at the same time, it can pull us in different directions. Malaysians hold diverse, competing identities, ideas of nationhood and loyalties. And more often that not, these competing ideologies become a source of division.

Building a Shared National Identity without Leaving Anyone Behind

The summit aims to invite Malaysians to move beyond divisive racial and religious rhetoric and loyalties, and come together for honest, respectful conversations about who we are and the Malaysia we want to build collectively.
